Trust Administration & Litigation

Trust Administration & Litigation

If the assets of the deceased were owned through a well drafted and properly funded living trust, it is likely that no court-managed administration is necessary, though the successor trustee needs to administer the distribution of the deceased's assets.  This process is usually referred to as “estate administration” or “trust administration.”

However, if family members or others disagree with the terms of the trust, or believe that there is an issue with regards to the trust, the trust may be subject to a lawsuit, known typically as a "Trust Contest" or "Trust Litigation".

Phillips Ballenger is here to help.  Please Contact Trust Litigation attorney Christopher Phillips to schedule a consultation regarding Trust Administration or Trust Litigation today.
